L’histoire de l’émission raconte Beth (Amy Schumer), une femme apparemment prospère qui entretient une relation à long terme.
De prime abord, on pourrait penser qu’elle a tout pour plaire-une relation solide et une carrière stable-mais un incident inattendu fait comprendre à Beth qui elle voulait vraiment devenir à l’adolescence et où elle a fini maintenant.
Le casting de Life and Beth comprend également Michael Cera, Yamaneika Saunders, Michael Rapaport et Susannah Flood entre autres.
